Samantha’s first theatre experience was back in 2000 when she became a cast member of a show called Brisbane Gang Show with Scouts Queensland. She was a part of this show for 9 years. Then in 2008, she began to train with Harvest Rain in their Adult Musical Theatre and September MAD Workshop.
She continued her training with the company in 2009 through their Internship Program appearing in REFUGEE 3 (Refugee), THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE (Blockhead 1), THE LORD MAYOR'S NEW WORKS FESTIVAL (New Plays, New Songs New Voices and Dance Design) and URINETOWN (UGC Executive 1) as well as being Jordan Pollard’s Personal Assistant in the first season of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT and Wardrobe Assistant in the return season. With these backstage experiences, she was also given the opportunity to be the Assistant Production Manager URINETOWN and THE SECRET STORY OF CINDERELLA AND HER FABULOUSLY FASHIONABLE FOOTWEAR and the Assistant Production Manager for HARVEST RAIN 25 Concert. The highlights of this year will be taking on SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR as the Production Manager. Along with all of these opportunities, Samantha has become a member of the staff with the company as an Assistant Administrator.
Samantha is so thrilled to be back again in the Internship Program for 2010 and is so thankful to Harvest Rain for all of the opportunities that she has been given already as well as what is to come.
