Following on from their sell-out arena tours of CATS, HAIRSPRAY, GREASE and THE WIZARD OF OZ, Harvest Rain brings the music of Queen to life in this all new arena production of WE WILL ROCK YOU, featuring a core professional principal cast surrounded by an amateur mass ensemble of over 500 youth performers.

Harvest Rain invites experienced and/or trained Australian musical theatre artists to submit an audition application for the production, which will be touring Australia through 2021/22. We are seeking skilled actor/singers for all principal roles in the show.
Harvest Rain is an inclusive workplace where everyone is welcome. Due to current border closure and travel restrictions, Harvest Rain is offering both in person and online auditions.
Auditions will be held at Hayward Street Studios in Brisbane on Monday 8th & Tuesday 9th February.
Interstate applicants will be offered the opportunity to audition online if they cannot attend in person.
Rehearsals commence in Brisbane from Monday 6th September 2021 for 4 weeks, leading up to the Brisbane season from 1 – 2 October 2021. (The show will then tour in school holiday periods over the following 12 months. Cast will be required in each city for rehearsals in the week leading up to performances. Contracts will be offered for the Brisbane season initially, with option for participation in other cities to be confirmed 3 months out from each city)

A young misfit looking for meaning in a highly regulated world. Needs to be charismatic, charming, (a sense of comedy) and have a very strong rock tenor voice up to a full voice sustained high B.
Falsetto up to a D above High B is also required.
Also a young misfit, with a sharp wit who keeps Galileo on his toes. Eventually they fall for each other.
Vocally, a strong rock mezzo belt voice is required.
She is a ruthless business woman, powerful, tough and glamorous with a strong stage presence.
She has sass, and controls every situation around her. A dynamic, strong character.
Vocally, a very powerful, strong mezzo belt with the capacity and vocal stamina for a hard rock edge is required.
Khashoggi works for the Killer Queen. He is the embodiment of a future techno corporate stooge.

Brit is one of the Bohemian rebels who believes that there is a true musical style that can conquer the corporate Ga-Ga sound.
High Baritone or Tenor with a rock edge.
Oz, like Brit, is a Bohemian rebel, waiting for the return of rock music.
A strong Mezzo belt voice is required.
Buddy is an old librarian with a passion for the old sacred texts.
He is the comic character that acts as a foil to the journey taken by Galileo and Scaramouche.
